Cinnamon — success, healing, luck, protection, money drawing

Blue chalk — protection, calm, mourning

Chrysanthemum — protection, grief and remembrance, good health

Coffee — road opener, speed, grounding

Optional: eggshells, personal protection mix, or any other protective ingredients you keep in your practice.

Steps

1. Cleanse your space, your tools, and yourself before beginning.

2. Mix all ingredients into a container.

3. Stir with your hands, speaking your intention into the blend. Let the words carry your will: protection, safety, remembrance, freedom.

4. Carve a protection sigil and the word Palestine as a taglock into the candle.

5. Dress the candle with moon water and your mixture.

6. On a cleansed plate, fix the candle at the center with melted wax.

7. Spread the remaining mixture in a circle around the candle on the plate.

8. Pour a ring of salt around the candle for added protection.

9. Add any extra ingredients you wish for reinforcement (I used eggshells and my personal cleansing/protection mix).

10. Light the candle. Allow it to burn all the way down. When it reaches the bottom, the flame should catch the mixture, rising into a greater fire — the shield ignited.
